This project involved the complete upgrade of both foul and surface water drainage systems at a residential property. The existing infrastructure was outdated, unreliable, and unsuitable for modern wastewater and stormwater demands.

 

Our brief was to design and install a permanent solution that would manage foul waste safely, control surface water during heavy rainfall, and provide long-term reliability with accessible maintenance points.

 

 

The Problem

 

  The homeowner contacted Bromley Drainage due to recurring issues with ground saturation, surface water pooling, and concerns around foul drainage capacity and access.

 

There was no adequate underground storage, limited inspection access, and an increased risk of blockages, backups, and flooding. The existing layout also made future maintenance difficult, increasing the likelihood of costly emergency callouts.

 

 

 

 

 

Following a full site inspection, we identified that the property required a complete upgrade of its below-ground drainage systems.

Installation Process

 

Our team carefully excavated the affected area, prepared a stable base, and installed the Tricel Vento system to manufacturer specifications.

 

All pipework was laid to correct falls, access points were positioned for long-term serviceability, and the surrounding ground was stabilised to prevent settlement.

 

The site was left prepared for reinstatement, ensuring minimal disruption to the homeowner.

 

 

The new drainage system now manages both foul waste and surface water effectively, reducing the risk of blockages, backups, and flooding.

 

The ground remains stable, the system is fully accessible for future maintenance, and the homeowner has long-term peace of mind.

 

This was a permanent infrastructure upgrade, not a temporary fix.

 

 

All works were carried out in line with current UK drainage regulations and best practice.
